Constant seeker, urban and suburban ex-patriate, Luddite-wanna-be-but-never-will-be, always striving for authenticity and simplicity… wife to the Tall Man and mother to Janka Fairy, Ferdinand, and Little Crazy Matas. All of them born at home, raised fully at home, and educated at home. Recent transplant to Pownal, VT and hoping to stay. Still Conservative Quaker by convincement because it can hold my love of other Christian and Jewish mystical traditions, in particular the Lubavitcher Rebbe and Orthodox Christian Mysticism. Attending the Orthodox Church as a family, in particular the ROCOR Church. Trying to be a seamless WHOLE, intsead of always rejecting one part of myself or another.

Tall Man
Loved the compass of our Mother Earth directing spells from our altar to the North, South, East and West. Best friend Fire showed, as did Water, and their buddies Earth and Air….quite the party.
Was a bit surprised, but stayed for the entertainment. Kudos fairy friends from the farthest lands.

Just wanted to say I found your blog through Quaker Quaker. I have been immersed in Orthdox Christianity for almost two years now. Were you ever a catechumen or member of the Church? I recently decided to put off being baptised/chrismated until I am sure. After spending the past 6 months exploring early Christianity and other “sects”, I am also very interested in the Quakers.
Could you email me privately and share more about your spiritual journey?
Thanks!
